We make ice cream, not data profiles. Here's exactly what our website collects, why, and how to opt out.

The Short Version
This notice covers eiffelwaffleindy.com, the website for Eiffel Waffle Creamery at 8594 E 116th St Suite 40, Fishers IN 46038. It's a small, locally owned shop, and our website is small too. We collect only what helps us understand how people find us and answer the messages you send.
Our site records basic, anonymous usage on our own servers: which pages are viewed, which buttons are tapped (call, order, directions, social links), how far a page is scrolled, and how you arrived (a search engine, an ad, a social link, or typed directly). To tell visits apart we store a random ID in your browser's local storage. That ID is a random string, not your name, email, or phone number, and it isn't shared with anyone. We do not use cookies for this and we do not store your IP address. We keep only an approximate location (city and ZIP code, never a street address) and a general device type (phone, tablet, or computer).
We use Google tags to measure how well our ads work and how people use the site. Google may set cookies and use your Google account settings to report aggregate demographics and interests (Google Signals) when that feature is enabled. We only ever see this as totals, never as an individual person. If you send us a form after clicking one of our ads, Google may receive a scrambled (hashed) version of the email or phone number you typed so it can confirm the ad led to an inquiry; we never place your details in a web address. When you use our catering or contact form, what you type (your name, email, phone, event details, and message) is delivered to our email inbox through our form provider so we can reply to you. Along with it we note where your visit came from, for example "google/cpc" or "instagram/social", so we know which of our efforts brought you here. We use this only to answer you and to plan your event. We keep it as long as we need to serve you and for ordinary business records.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for other companies' advertising. The only companies that touch it are the ones that run the site for us: our web host, our form-delivery provider, and Google for the measurement described above. Our site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Your Choices
Browser settings. Blocking cookies, clearing site data, or using a private browsing window stops both our anonymous ID and Google's cookies from persisting. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies entirely.
Google's Ads Settings. Turn off ad personalization and demographic reporting for your Google account at adssettings.google.com. You can also install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Forms. You never have to use our forms. Call us at (317) 567-4009 or stop by the shop instead.
